A good break was to work with Mr. Subhash Rastogi the owner of Ram Chandra Krishan Chandra saris who accepted his good and bad work with open hands and corrected him by hit and trial method. Today fabric shooting is his specialty. he can distinguish a range of fabrics in one photograph.

He keeps his models relaxed by putting on nice music according to the concept of the shot, the other way is to talk to his models, a rapport is a must with a model to take out best from his/her expressions.

He always puts them at ease by using his sense of humour and funny attitude. Normally he works nonstop but to create a particular image he can take ages to perfect the shot. On the other hand he has a speed of shooting 400 to 500 odd regular tabletops in one go and 100 to 200 garments on a model in another go. It is always important to him as to where the shots have to be used. He shoots stocks accordingly; this he has learnt from working with magazine groups. He tries to always blend the old school of photography with the modern approach to fashion. He likes to create an era in a photograph and likes to take risks in terms of processing, using abnormal lenses, films, even with different types of cameras.

"Color photography is one thing where a dream can be sequenced but B/W is something which is very powerful. B/W can create nostalgia even in a normal photograph and be very similar to an artistic graphic canvas." Believes Sangeet Kaushik. He has worked with almost all the good models and known to be of very friendly nature among his circle. He often works as a solution maker for his clients who later become his friends. He always believes his own talent to visualize results and portray them in the picture regardless of the equipment. He believes photography for the sake of business is very biological and technical but for the sake of art is a passion to be perceived and persisted. It does not bind you with equipment and technique, it just has to happen.
